Where in the world could we find “Larsian?” It has been said that you haven’t seen and experienced the whole of Cebu if you failed to visit Larsian… Is it a beach? Is it a monument? Well, no. It is something we all think about, though. Morning, noon and night. Indeed. It’s all food! 
Larsian is one of Cebu’s most recognizable eating spots, one of the few that endured the test of time. It is located at the uptown area near Fuente Osmeña and Chong Hua Hospital. Larsian is a place lined with a lot of barbecue stands, amdist the thick smoke, these stands offer similar barbecue selections for everyone.

Among these selections are: chicken wings, thigh, skin, breast, feet or intestines, pork liver, chorizo, tocino, seafoods, like squid and fish and a whole lot more – all displayed right in front of you. You get to select any of these and hand them over to the cook. Also, you can purchase your puso (hanging rice) there. Cooking the food takes around a quick 10 – 15 minutes.

The verdict? Food was undeniably superb and cheaper too! Can’t wait to head back to this place for some diet “cheat day.” Cebu has a lot of things to offer – one of which is definitely, gastronomic FOOD! 8)
