Day 105: Advantages of Solo Female Travelers

It’s amazing how so many women nowadays are traveling solo around different areas in this planet. The number is really growing. The question now is: What are the advantages of women who travel solo?

Let me sum up everything with these points:

More Freedom

Freedom to simply step out of the bus if there’s a beautiful scenery to capture. Freedom to choose where to stay or what to eat without compromise. Freedom to change your mind with one thing and decide on another. Freedom to be spontaneous and freedom to take chances.

Unavoidable Special Treatment

Young or old, undeniably, women get the special treatment – whether men offering to carry your bags, people offering their seats to you, or even when asking questions, you will be given priority. No offense to the men, though.

Flexibility

Taking advantage on “unexpected opportunities” – whether town fiestas, parties, events, you name it. It’s all without hesitation because the time depends on your decision. 🙄

Self Awareness

It molds you to your best potential – survival, culture adaptation, language skills, placing things in perspective, finances, everything that relates to your point of view opens a door of self-discovery. That’s the beauty of traveling solo.

New Acquaintances

Traveling solo does not mean being alone all the time. It means you are basically making your own decisions without any compromise BUT anyone along the way could come along with you to be a part of your adventure. What’s more glorious than having new acquaintances? 🙂

My sentiments, exactly. I see my younger self in you with the spunk they used to be scared of. You will get there in your time (with Chester, of course). Have a nice life, dear one, and let your light shine. 🙂
