Day 121: Last Day of Being 21

Two weeks of going about life. Two weeks of doing things out of my ordinary lifestyle. For two weeks, I was able to drink an expensive sparkling water from France, I was able to play several “good notes” on my saxophone with the rightΒ embouchure, I ran my first marathon, I spent thousands in one single day (which I hope will not happen again), I finished reading a novel in two days, I cooked some Italian food, I drank a fine glass of red wine on a hot afternoon while working on some designs, and I splurged myself with great tasting Chicago deep dish pizza and Starbucks coffee. πŸ˜‰

It was a fantastic two weeks and I chose those days to celebrate my birthday. Now that I am turning 22 in a few hours, I’ll be more focused on the #PHL80_23 project. Probably this time next year, I’ll be on the last leg of the tour – Palawan. haha, hopefully! πŸ™‚ I have scratched off a few things on my bucket list (in a span of 2 weeks) and it is high time for me to continue the journey towards a 6-month backpacking trip around the Philippines. I’m certainly ready!Β Great to be back! πŸ™‚

I did a countdown on Facebook too. It’s a photomontage of my childhood to teen to young adult years. It’s also a small way of tracking my place in my timeline – achievements, interests, and most of all, introspection of who I was, who I am, and who I will be. πŸ™‚ I don’t know. I just thought it would remind me of the things that I did in the past years of my existence. haha.
