See the blue islands?

I am a proud resident of the Philippines for 20+ years, yet these are some of the parts that I have set my feet on. I have a lot of areas to cover in my country as evidenced by this Domestic Map (thanks to Eugene Villar who created it for fellow Filipino travel enthusiasts).

I live in Iloilo City, known as the City of Love. I breathe the air here, as well as walk the same land most of my ancestors walked on. I speak the local dialect called “Hiligaynon” and I have learned to embrace the culture of our land. I am an Ilongga.

Because the Philippines is an archipelago (a country with scattered islands or clustered islands) it is a bit difficult to cross from one city to another without the means of all types of transportation: air, sea, and land.

With the given circumstances, this is my grade:

I don’t mind being a C TRAVELER of my own country. I think I could manage to fill these white spaces with color by the time I reach – let’s say 50 23? Yeah. 23! 8)
